SMOKEY JOE'S ANNABELLE
Annabelle was the first foal out of Purdue's Cruisin' Annie by Smokey Joe, a stallion by Buddy Roe. We showed her the first time as a yearling, putting her in the Rocky Mountain International Show weanling class. With virtually no training, she won Reserve Champion in her class. As she was started under saddle, we decided to see if she was made for the show ring. Annabelle's gait was somewhere in between trail pleasure and classic gait, but she finally settled and seemed more comfortable at the trail pleasure gait. Each year she excelled and won several classes with various riders in different shows, usually placing in the top three. She has an extremely consistent gait and is a champion with juvenile and amateur riders as well as professionals. We were so proud and excited that she won the 2011 International Grand Championship.
We have decided to offer her for sale. Interested buyers may contact us by email or phone. She is ready for the show ring with minimal reinforcement. Annabelle is a winning mare for youth and/or adults.
