Windy Rock horses are turned out on pasture as much as possible.  Our foals are born at our farm in Northern Indiana. We also enjoy a small weekend farm in Carlisle, KY where we pasture as well.   We work with the foals when they are young, teaching them the basics of leading, loading, trimming, ect.  Then, they may be turned out and allowed to be "horses" before being worked with again as yearlings or 2 year olds.  We take our mares to various stallions for breeding in an attempt to produce foals that exhibit the desired characteristics of conformation, gait and temperament.
