Smokey Bones is a gorgeous silver buckskin out of R Ranger Dream Maker, a perlino, who has Yankee, Choco Dock and Buddie Roe in his pedigree. Mabeline, the dam, has Tim bloodlines. This guy is naturally gaited. Bones is very striking with a frosted mane and tail. He is shedding out a light silvery buckskin, with a lot of flax in his mane and tail. Bones has a good temperament and is friendly. His conformation is very solid with a deep chest and a well-proportioned build.

He will be a flashy mount on the trail or in the show ring. Bones is well-gaited. He was gelded July 2010. He will make a great trail horse with show potential.

Shepherd's Snowy River throws his locked-in gait to his off spring and this guy is no exception. Snowy River was the 2009 Trail Pleasure Champion at the RM International Show in September 2009 . So, River has great potential!

River is a friendly colt, curious, and sweet to work with. He has a pretty, small Rocky head and is solidly colored with a very small star and a snip. His dam, by Sam's Son is a great, laid back mare with a gentle temperament. River is extremely laid back.

He is a silvery chocolate. River's mane and tail have become nearly white. He is a beautiful colt. River makes a good stallion and show prospect. He is homozygous silver.

Hattie is a dainty chocolate filly, out of Dancer (Sam's Son) by Dakota. She is a solid medium chocolate color and will have a nearly white mane and tail, with a nice star. She is strongly gaited and super friendly. Hattie has been handled since birth and she responds nicely. She's a real sweetheart! Her bloodlines include Sam, Nuncio, and Johnson's Toby. She is double registered. Hattie will make a calm, trusted trail horse and companion.

Mabeline is for sale, see the Mare Page for details about this brood mare. She delivered a beautiful silver buckskin in April 2009. We did not breed any of our mares for 2010 foals. However, May 2010 she is being bred to Shepherd's Snowy River for a 2011 foal. Mabeline is a proven broodmare and has produced many foals for us. We have not ridden her, she has been only used for breeding. Her foals are always large and strong. She has produced several chocolate foals, a buckskin, a black and a sorrel. Mabeline is a fine example of the old Rocky foundation mares. This price includes the Snowy River foal, whose sire is a repeat International Grand Champion Trail horse. Hannibal has extensive ground training and 60 days of training under saddle. He goes through water, woods and up and down hills. He is by Dakota and out of Mabeline, our Tim mare. The trainer feels that he has possible potential for a show horse with a good lift to his gait, if someone wants to spend the time. He needs a rider with some riding experience.
