0ur mares are all special to us.  They have been chosen for our breeding program due to their bloodlines, temperament and conformation.  We do not stand our own stallion.  That allows us to choose stallions that complement our mares.  We look for stallions that will contribute to our breeding program and offer traits that exemplify the Rocky Mountain horse.  We feel our foals possess the bloodlines to best carry on the Rocky Mountain breed.  Our foals are imprinted at birth and worked with until they are sold.

Mabeline will produce a buckskin or palomino foal in 2009, as she is bred to Dream Maker a perlino stallion.

PRUETT'S MABELINE

Mabeline is a large mare with the Tim bloodline background.  She produces large foals with her sound conformation.  She always throws a pretty, small Rocky head.  Her sire is Wireman's Tex.  She stands 15h and is a dark chocolate with a flax mane and tail.  Her 2006 foal, by Rockin Dobbin has been sold, but can be seen on our sales page.  He is a large, flashy sorrel with a flax mane and tail.  Mabeline's 2007 foal is also shown. This big black colt is by Dakota.

 Mabeline's Pedigree

Mabeline is for sale.  Mabeline is safe in foal to Dream Maker, a perlino RM/KM stallion. The foal will be due in April of 2009 and will be either buckskin or palomino.  Mabeline is a proven producer.  5 of her 7 foals have been chocolate.  She is easy to handle and a great mom.   She has an easy-going temperament and is an easy keeper.  She has not been ridden in the past 5 years.  I'm selling her because I want to keep some of the fillies that I have raised!  Unfortunately, I can't keep them all.

We are excited about a Shepherd's Snowy River foal in 2009!

Dancer was used as my trail horse for a few years before coming a brood mare.  She produced her first foal in 2006, a well-built filly out of Jake's Mirror.  She is bred to Dakota for a June 2008 foal.  She possesses the traits of her sire, SAM'S SON , who is known for his quiet temperament and classic conformation. Dancer has a broad chest and a sturdy build.   She is a medium chocolate with a flax mane and tail.  She is out of a Choco mare.

PURDUE'S CRUISIN' ANNIE

Annie's Pedigree

She is Awesome!

In 2009 we are anxiously awaiting a foal by Tiajuana Taxi
Annie is a true black, red gene negative, brood mare.   Her conformation is the old time Rocky style, short coupled, small head, with a deep chest.  Her bloodlines come from the Nuncio/Kilburn Chocolate Sundown lines.  Her 2005 filly, Annabelle, took Reserve Champion in the yearling conformation at the 2006 International Show.  Belle is currently in training with Vernon Stamper for the 2008 show season.

      SMOKEY JOE'S ANNABELLE

Her 2007 foal, by Shepherd's Snowy River, is a beautiful black filly named Xena.  Xena went to Canada.
2008 brought us a chocolate filly by Jolly Joe, an old time stallion.  This filly, Calli Anne is a big & solid  with a locked in gait. She is a strong show prospect.  See the foal page for more info.

Belle is Annie's first foal.  Born in 2005, she is a beautiful dark chocolate filly with a snow white mane and tail.    She, like her dam, is red gene negative.   She is a quick learner and willing to please.  Her sire is Smokey Joe by Buddy Roe.  Belle has a beautiful way of going.   She is showing in the 2008 show season in the 3 year old classic pleasure classes for KMSHA and UMH.  She will show in the Show Pleasure class at the Rocky Mountain Shows.    She has been shown successfully in the juvenile classes and she can be ridden by anybody.
